Find a Quiet Moment
Choose a relaxed time when your child feels calm. You’ll need a flat wall, a ruler, a tape measure, and your child standing flat on the floor.
Help Your Child Stand Tall
Invite your child to stand with heels touching the wall, back straight, shoulders relaxed, and head gently against the wall, looking straight ahead. Keeping it light and positive helps them stand naturally.
Place the Ruler Softly
Rest the flat edge of the ruler on the top of their head. Make sure it is straight, lightly touching the wall, and sitting at the highest point of their head.
Mark or Measure
Choose whichever feels easiest. You can make a small mark where the ruler meets the wall or keep the ruler in place and measure from the floor to the ruler.
Record the Height in Centimetres
Write down the height in centimetres and check it once more for accuracy. This helps keep casting details up to date.
A Helpful Photo (Optional)
A quick photo of the measuring position or the measurement on the tape can be helpful if we ever need to verify height. Please do not use this photo as any of your application images. If we require it at a later date, we will let you know.
