These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) outline the agreement between Cloud Nine Kids (“we”, “our”, “the Agency”) and the parent or legal guardian (“you”, “the Client”) of the child (“the Model/Talent”). By joining our agency, using our website, or participating in any casting, job, or event, you agree to these Terms. We provide representation, promotion, and support for children aged 0–18 in modelling, acting, and other talent opportunities, and all actions taken on behalf of your child will be managed by us in accordance with these Terms.

1. Representation

1.1 Cloud Nine Kids represents children aged 0–18 for modelling, acting, commercial, and talent-related opportunities.

1.2 Representation is non-exclusive, meaning you may work with other agencies unless stated otherwise.

1.3 The Agency does not guarantee work, castings, or bookings. Opportunities depend solely on client requirements.

2. Parental Responsibility

2.1 A parent or legal guardian must manage all communication on behalf of the child.

2.2 By signing up, you confirm you have full legal authority to make decisions for the child.

2.3 You agree to provide accurate and truthful information at all times.

3. Photos, Videos & Portfolio Material

3.1 All photos and videos provided must be recent and a true likeness of the child.

3.2 You grant the Agency permission to use the child’s images for:

  • Casting submissions
  • Client presentations

3.3 You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us in writing.

4. Bookings & Jobs

4.1 If your child is selected for a job, we will notify you with full details.

4.2 You must confirm availability promptly to secure the booking.

4.3 Cancellations must be communicated immediately.

4.4 Repeated last-minute cancellations may result in removal from the Agency’s books.

4.5 For any job involving working hours, performance, or potential earnings, a parent/guardian must attend with the child.

5. Payments & Fees

5.1 The Agency charges no upfront sign-up fee unless stated (e.g., optional photography packages).

5.2 Agency commission is applied to all paid jobs. Standard commission ranges 15%–25%, depending on the job type.

5.3 All payments for jobs will be made to the child’s bank account, as required by UK law for child performers.

5.4 Payments are made after the Agency receives funds from the client.

5.5 We are not responsible for client payment delays but will take reasonable steps to chase outstanding payments.

6. Child Performance Licensing (if required)

6.1 Some bookings require a Child Performance Licence from your local authority.

6.2 It is the parent’s responsibility to provide documents swiftly (birth certificate, school letter, photos, etc.).

6.3 Failure to provide documents in time may result in your child losing the booking.

7. Conduct & Behaviour

7.1 We expect professional behaviour from both children and parents at all castings, shoots, events, or communications.

7.2 Abuse, harassment, or disrespect toward agency staff, clients, or other families will not be tolerated.

7.3 The Agency reserves the right to remove any child or parent who breaches these expectations.
